Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Duties
Maintain and manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and budget reports.
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all financial activities.
Assist external CPAs with payroll processing and related tax filings.
Collaborate with external CPAs during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software: QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting.
Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and understanding of debits & credits.
Ability to perform general ledger accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries.
Familiarity with financial concepts related to account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll, and financial report writing.
Strong analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
