JOB TITLE RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY HOSPITALITY SALARY KSHS.

35,000 JOB LOCATION WESTLANDS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operations & Service Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Supervise service staff to maintain consistency and high-quality guest experiences.

Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, service standards, and hygiene protocols.

Manage dining room ambiance, including cleanliness, music, lighting, and overall guest comfort.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.

Staff Management Lead, train, and motivate the service team to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Prepare daily shift schedules and assign tasks to staff.

Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure team readiness before service.

Menu & Beverage Knowledge Maintain expert knowledge of the restaurant’s menu with a strong emphasis on continental cuisine.

Possess a thorough understanding of alcoholic beverages, including wine pairing, spirits, and cocktail presentation.

Assist guests with menu selections and make recommendations based on their preferences.

Inventory & Supplies Monitor stock levels of restaurant supplies and beverages.

Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen teams to ensure availability of items.

Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and stock takes.

Financial Oversight Support in daily cash handling, billing, and end-of-day reports.

Minimize wastage and optimize resources to ensure cost control.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Service, or related field is an added advantage Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in a fine dining environment Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine and alcoholic beverages Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively High level of personal grooming and professional appearance Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays HOW TO APPLY If you meet the above qualifications, skills and experience share CV on Interviews will be carried out on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
