Position Overview:

As a member of the Operations team you will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and efficiently supervising production in order to achieve the set objectives.

Main Missions :

Developing the production schedule in coordination with upstream and downstream departments.

Organizing and planning production with workshop managers or team leaders.

Supervising the launch of production across various units.

Monitoring the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.

Analyzing operations and identifying disruptions in the production process.

Managing and coordinating a team.

Setting goals for front-line managers.

Ensuring production and quality targets set by management are met.

Monitoring the achievement of objectives and coordinating activities.

Providing technical support, evaluating, and developing front-line managers.

Ensuring adherence to the product delivery schedule.

Maintaining dashboards and establishing corrective action plans.

Identifying and proposing solutions (processes, organization, investments, etc.) to improve productivity, responsiveness, and production quality.

Initiating diagnostics and studies to reduce costs (materials, processes, production technologies).

Working closely with other departments to resolve any issues affecting operations.

Monitoring QRQC Line and AREA.

Following up on LPA audits.

Ensuring 5S standards are maintained in the plant.

Ensuring proper management of WIP inventory.

Actively collaborating with all functions to achieve and maintain the following certifications:

IATF

ISO 14001

ISO 45001

To be successful for this role :

University Degree

Experience in the automotive Industry ( More than 8 years )

2 years of experience in a similar position is required

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

Experience managing teams, including onboarding, training and performance management

Good knowledge of tools of lean manufacturing

Experience using SAP software, project management tools and MS Office

Language Skills:

Good communication skills in both French and English
