Charter College, an established and growing career college with locations in Washington, Montana, New Mexico, Alaska, and Southern California, is expanding its programs to include Radiology Technology in Reno, NV.
The blended course environment enables instructors to offer students a greater range of learning avenues. It blends face-to-face interaction such as in-class discussions, active group work, live lectures, and lab work with web-based technologies such as discussion boards, open forums and utilizing a learning management system. This allows us to offer a more active learning and flexible scheduling for the students, while maintaining the value of a face to face learning environment.

The Radiology Technologist/Subject Matter Expert (RT/SME) works closely with Instructional Design and Education Leadership to develop new or revamp existing course content, materials, assessment, and documents in the field in which they are experts. The SME will ensure the material provided is original work, accurate, and of high educational quality.
The RT/SME will report to the corresponding, Program Manager and will receive direction from their assigned Instructional Designer.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop new program outcomes to meet industry standards for employment in the field.
Develop course objectives and course descriptions to meeting overall program objectives.
Create syllabi based on outcomes and course descriptions using the Colleges standard template.
Create course curriculum including but not limited to:
Lesson plan
Open ended discussion questions.
Weekly video lectures (that may include PowerPoints)
Weekly assignments
Weekly Reading Assignments
Weekly Homework assignments
Exam/quiz/test (at minimum mid-term and final)
Information Literacy Assignment (ILA) Project(s) (graded)
Interactive collaborative learning activities
Detail instruction for student for all assignments/learning activities/projects, etc.
Links to videos, resources, etc. (as needed)
Instructional notes for faculty (as needed)
Collaborate with Instructional Design staff to create interactive e learning modules.
Collaborate with Instructional design on overall course flow and standard usability.
Job Qualifications And Skills
Graduates of an Accredited Radiography Program
Baccalaureate Degree
Current ARRT(MR) or ARMIT certification in Radiography or equivalent (e.g., unrestricted state license)
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiography.
Compensation
Hourly Non-Exempt Part Time
Wage Range: $35/hr. - $45/hr.
Compensation dependent on experience, knowledge and education level.
