We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor for County Materials in Marathon City, WI.
Job Duties:
Manage Team Member's assigned and provide leadership as needed to ensure desired results.
Oversee completion of all AP functions
Set up new vendor accounts in SXE.
Prepare credit applications.
Follow procedures and internal controls for authorized approvals.
Responsible for training new team members on AP processes
Responsible for answering all day-to-day questions from AP team members for all entities.
Responsible for maintenance of AP paperless system
Month end reports to GL accountants
Assist with Purchase Cards and related GL postings
Ensure compliance with 1099 reporting
Work Environment:
Office working environment
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently.
Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely.
Standing / Walking / Climbing
Experience & Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting preferred
3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable Management
Must be proficient in Microsoft products.
Excellent communication skills
Good mathematical skills
Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.
Accuracy and detail oriented
Experience implementing and managing an automated Accounts Payable system
Muli-entity experience a plus
