Job Opening : Program Buyer

Work place : Busan, South Korea

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchasing and ordering of consumables and advanced development items (domestic and overseas)

Perform monthly closing tasks (e.g., consumables, sample materials)

Manage equipment and tooling

Support activities related to advanced development projects

Analyze material purchasing status and FCST by supplier

Document purchasing activities and manage related systems (e.g., ERP, PLM)

Continuously improve and optimize purchasing processes

Collaborate closely with project teams to support product development

Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers

Requirements

Experiences in purchasing or import-related roles

Minimum 1 year of experience in the Automotive parts industry, preferably in a purchasing team

Strong proficiency in Excel

Intermediate to advanced English skills

(e.g., TOEIC score of 800+ or equivalent certification)

Education

Bachelor's degree (4-year university)

Preferred majors: Distribution/Trade, Business Administration, or related fields

Additional Information

Good communication ability and excellent negotiation skills

Ability to work under pressure and pronounced solution orientation as well as in global teams across different departments

Result oriented

Willingness for international travel and intercultural understanding global mindset

Customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as high adherence to timelines

Understanding of the processes according to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, VDA 6.3

Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in interpreting and analysing a CBD
