Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant! This role involves answering phones, handling data entry, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable learning and following established procedures.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional, courteous customer service
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Assist customers with processing registrations, renewals, license plates, placards, and related documentation
Handle financial transactions, including billing, payments, and reconciliation in accordance with policies and procedures
Research and resolve customer inquiries, requests, or complaints by applying applicable rules and procedures
Operate office systems, databases, and equipment to enter, update, and retrieve information
Support clerical tasks such as filing, sorting mail, preparing reports, and maintaining office supplies
Provide cross-coverage for other Customer Service Assistants as needed during peak times or absences
Assist in onboarding and training new staff when required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or clerical roles preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with computers, data entry, and office equipment
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow detailed procedures
Comfortable handling transactions, balancing cash, and maintaining accuracy under pressureCompany Description
