Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Position Summary:
We're hiring a hands-on, Assistant General Manager who's ready to step into a leadership role and help run the show. This is a high-responsibility position for someone who's been in the hotel game, either as a Head Housekeeper, Front Desk Manager or a General Manager experience in fast food or casual dining, so you know how to keep things moving, coach a team, and deliver results in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
You'll be the go-to when the GM isn't around, especially on second shifts and weekends, so this one's for the doers, not the desk jockeys.
What you'll be doing:
Oversee daily hotel operations and serve as the MOD (Manager on Duty) when the GM is off
Step in across departments-front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance
Manage schedules, cover shifts when needed, and ensure everything runs smoothly
Lead the team by coaching, training, and holding staff accountable
Handle guest issues with urgency and professionalism
Support block bookings, sales outreach, and corporate leads
Monitor guest feedback and drive service improvements
Assist with financials, payroll, and cost control We're looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years in one hotel property as a Head Housekeeper or Front Desk Manager or Has prior General Manager experience in fast food or casual dining
Comes from a branded hotel (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton, Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc.)
Understands what it takes to manage a busy hotel during peak times
Works evenings and weekends-this isn't a Monday-Friday desk job
Can use hotel systems like Opera, PEP, or Sophie (or is willing to learn)
