About the project and opportunity:

Acciona has been nominated to deliver a program of works for Western Power relating to the Clean Energy Link. These works will see us upgrading and installing transmission lines and upgrading substations to enable the green energy to flow to Perth.

As a Contracts Administrator, you will report to the commercial manager on the project to enhance our contracts & procurement processes, spot opportunities early, and ensure that our contracts management is second to none, minimizing risk and maximizing gains.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the effective administration of subcontracts through all phases of the project, including scope preparation, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion and close out

Maintain accurate records of contract correspondence, variations, and claims

Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices in accordance with contract terms

Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes and claims

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms

Prepare and maintain a contract register and schedule of contract deliverables

Identify and manage risks as well as opportunities

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures

Required Skills and Competencies

A Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or substantial experience performing the role

A solid foundation of experience in contracts administration, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry

An ability to build conducive relationships with subcontractors in sometimes challenging environments whilst having the confidence to negotiate terms for win/win outcomes

A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a workload with competing priorities
