Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our dynamic team. As a CPA or EA, you will provide comprehensive tax preparation, representation, and advisory services to a diverse client base. Your expertise will help individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of the tax code and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and non-profit tax returns (1040, 1041, 1120, 1065, etc.)

Represent clients before the IRS and other taxing authorities in audits, appeals, and collections

Provide tax planning advice to clients to minimize liabilities and maximize returns

Keep up-to-date on current tax law changes and provide guidance on the impact to clients

Assist with tax projections and filing deadlines to ensure compliance and accuracy

Maintain accurate and organized client records

Qualifications:

CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required

5+ years of tax preparation and advisory experience

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, tax laws, and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mentality

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Proficiency in tax preparation software (experience with Ultra Tax, TaxDome and SafeSend preferred)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
