Accountant for CPA Office Exp w Financial Stmts - PT or FT

Job Description

We are a growing, local firm with a fantastic team that enjoys working together. We are looking for new team-mates. This could be a great opportunity for the right person with experience in public accounting.

This is a full-time position working with a great team., but could be part-time.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Ø Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements & compilation reports that provide our clients with meaningful tools they can use to manage their business

Ø Prepare year end trial balances for tax and financial reporting purposes

Ø Prepare payroll tax returns and advise clients regarding payroll tax deposit requirements

Ø Prepare bank reconciliations and sales tax returns

Ø Responsibility for a specific group of clients

Experience:

5 years of recent U.S. public accounting firm experience is highly preferred

Experience with Thomson Reuters Accounting CS / Ultratax software is a plus.

Quickbooks expertise is a must

Prior public accounting experience in a CPA office similar to ours would be preferred.Company Description
