Oncology - Radiation Physician

Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology in Muskegon, MI

Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Muskegon, Michigan! We are currently seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide coverage for our facility due to physician turnover. You'll be working in a supportive environment with a focus on adult hospital-based patient populations. The center boasts state-of-the-art documentation systems, Aria and Epic, and offers an enriching practice experience between scheduled coverage dates in December. Job Responsibilities:

Order tests and images as necessary

Prescribe appropriate treatments and care plans

Perform required radiation therapy procedures including 3D Radiotherapy and IMRT

Collaborate with another Radiation Oncologist and a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting

Manage patient caseload with 10-15 outpatient visits per day Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED

Must possess a valid Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ - REQUIRED

BLS Certification - REQUIRED

Availability to cover specified dates - REQUIRED License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology

Current Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ

BLS Certification
