Hide Plant Labourers

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting several Hide Plant Labourers to join the team in a full-time capacity.

Located in Ipswich in South East Queensland, the JBS Dinmore Plant is the largest beef processing facility in the southern hemisphere. The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,000 head of cattle per day. This is a great opportunity to start your career at an entry level with no experience required. With endless opportunities within the company, it’s up to you how far you go!

We operate a rotating shift roster. You will work:

- Day Shift: 5am to 3pm (6-day rotating roster Monday to Saturday)

- Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 11pm (5 days per week Monday to Friday)

As a Hide Plant Labourer, your key responsibilities will include:

Inspecting hides for defects

Folding and weighing hides ready for palletising

Stacking hides on pallets

Ability to work well in a team environment

Have access to reliable transport

Ability to conduct physical work

Ability to work well in a team environment

Be safety conscious with the ability to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Ability to adhere to food safety and quality assurance requirements

Ability to listen to and follow instructions

Have strong attention to detail

Ability to work different shifts as required

Be punctual and reliable

Possess a desire to progress in the meat industry

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
