Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)

Location: Galesburg, IL 61401

Pay Rate: $85/hour before taxes and benefits

Contract Length: 43 Weeks

Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person Only (monday to friday)

Description:

We are currently seeking 2–3 passionate and qualified Special Education Teachers to join a dedicated team in Galesburg, IL. This is a full-time, in-person position open to candidates with any grade level preference (K–age 21).

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with other professionals and families.

Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to Special Education.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Illinois LBS1 certification (Learning Behavior Specialist 1).

Licensed to teach students from Kindergarten through age 21.

Must be able to work on-site in Galesburg, IL — remote candidates will not be considered.

Contract Details:

43-week contract

$85/hour, before taxes and befenits, paid weekly
