The Role

You will be responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities:

System Monitoring and Operation:

Continuously monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure all systems, including HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems, are functioning optimally.

Operate and adjust BMS settings to maintain optimal building conditions based on occupancy, weather, and energy efficiency goals.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze data from the BMS to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Generate and submit detailed reports on system performance, energy consumption, and any incidents or corrective actions taken.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all BMS operations comply with local, national, and international regulations, including those set by TESDA.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring all building systems operate within safe parameters.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to other team members on BMS operations and best practices.

Stay updated on the latest BMS technologies and TESDA certifications.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

Education:

TESDA Certificate in Building Management Systems or equivalent.

Relevant technical diploma or degree is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining BMS in commercial buildings.

Skills:

Proficient in using BMS software for monitoring, diagnostics, and reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills for reporting and training purposes.

Adhere to international building management standards such as ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management).

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global best practices in BMS operations.
