Allied Reliability is seeking a Wasterwater Process Technician for chemical warehouse opertaions.
Technical Responsibilities:
Collect samples as directed by the plant Regulatory Specialist
Perform daily rounds for regulatory and other plant equipment.
Perform duties as outlined by the ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
Manage the waste slab as required by RCRA and plant policy.
Maintain a clean and organized WWTP area.
Notify the Regulatory Specialist when a truck is needed to transport waste or recyclable by-products offsite.
Assist in the loading of waste and recyclable by-product trucks.
Notify the Deck Boss or LEAD of any abnormalities found while performing job functions.
Adjust parameters of the WWTP as directed by the Regulatory Specialist.
Stage and label containers accurately.
Remove dry waste materials from sand beds in a timely manner.
Package materials as required and maintain quality standards of packaged products.
Perform PM on assigned portions of the WWTP.
Charge chemicals (dry and liquid) to portions of the WWTP as directed by the Regulatory Specialist.
Sign and ensure BOL (Bill of Ladings) and WM (Waste Manifests) are filled out appropriately for Waste and by-product trucks leaving the site.
Perform bulk tank truck loading/unloading as required.
Request Work Orders as soon as a need is identified.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Additional duties as assigned. Environmental:
Dispose of packaging materials and waste responsibly, following environmental guidelines.
Collaborate with the team to ensure environmental sustainability practices are upheld.
Ensure, with the direction of the Regulatory Specialist compliance through all steps of waste, by-product, and wastewater handling. Regulatory (Safety Measures):
Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow established regulatory protocols for material handling and loading/unloading procedures.
Participate in safety and regulatory training sessions.
Adhere to all established safety policies.
Comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to operations and material handling.
