Risk strategy advisors belong to the Research and Progress team, and need to work remotely with the project team to provide feasible and actionable suggestions for our clients. Serving as this position, the advisor will conduct rigorous, data-driven research on the Middle East region or the Indo-Pacific region to grasp the latest trend of hotspots such as potential political risks, military conflicts, and economic policy transformations in these regions. Advisors are required to obtain the most valuable information from reliable channels and detail the international geopolitics and regional security policy from different standpoints, thus helping clients to discern possible risks in advance.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies on the Middle East region or the Indo-Pacific region to address challenges and ensure project success.
Conduct research on political and region-specific issues and synthesize research from a number of sources.
Synthesize high volumes of information quickly and distill key information for internal audiences
Support the Research and Progress team by using auxiliary tools
Prepare and present detailed project reports
Perform quality control including data accuracy proofreading.
Qualification of the Ideal Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields, such as public policy, political science, and so on
In-depth knowledge of geopolitics and international affairs
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within tight deadlines
Relevant experience with congress, government, military or political think tank
Excellent research, analytical, writing and organizational skills.
Veteran or serviceman is preferred
