ABOUT THE ROLE\nMaintenance Technician - Level I position is a key position in our rock crushing processing plant; includes monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens.The Technician will maintain a night shift schedule.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nWalk the site, observing crushers and conveyors for proper function.\nPerform clean up using manual means along with operating skid steer.\nGrease bearings; replace guards; change drive belts and gear boxes; replace rollers and bearings; change conveyor belts; replace skirting; change wear liners/hammers; adjust crushers; welding, fabrication and oil changes.\nAssist fellow crew members with plant mode changes.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n\nHands on experience with repairs typically found at a rock or sand mining operation.\nExperienced with operating/maintaining heavy equipment.

\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\nAbility to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.\nSelf-motivated with a solid work ethic.\n\nAdditional Requirements: \n\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.

Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.\nThis job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work.
