Responsibilities

Install septic systems, including tanks, drainfields, drip systems, and alternative treatment units

Read and interpret site plans, permits, and engineered drawings

Operate excavation and construction equipment safely and efficiently

Perform site prep, grading, and backfilling

Ensure all work meets state and county code requirements

Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with office staff and customers

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

Required: Valid Virginia septic installer/operator license (we can assist with the licensing process if you meet the required experience).

Minimum 2 years of experience in septic system installation (or related excavation/utility work)

Strong knowledge of state and county septic regulations

Ability to operate and maintain excavation equipment (backhoe, skid steer, mini-excavator, etc.)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team
