First Shift Production Line Worker

Job Description This on-site, full-time position is located in Almena WIGenerally the hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pmThe wages provided assume perfect attendance and achieving the attendance bonus each week.

Previous experience in an assembly line, production, or packaging environment - especially the food industry is preferred, but not necessary.

No special education required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Work on production lines converting and packaging cheese productsHelp maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.Help ensure only safe; quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices.Perform other position specific duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:Able to follow both written and verbal instructions at a 12th grade level or equivalent; in English and/or SpanishStrong Work Ethic and attendance recordPossess attention to detail and accuracyPositive attitudeAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAble to work well with others; team orientedAble to use basic hand tools and equipmentDependable mode of transportation Physical Requirements:Work 8-hour shiftsWear hair/beard net, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as required.Stand/walk on concrete floorPinch/Grip/GraspReach – with Arms and HandsStoop/Kneel/CrouchTwist/Turn/BendLift/carry up to 50 pounds regularlyLift/carry up to 75 pounds occasionallyPush/pull 75 pounds or more occasionallyWork in 35-50-degree conditions Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience:Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)Food production: 1 year (Preferred)Assembly: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English and Spanish (Preferred) Applications that are not entirely completed may not be considered.
