About The Position Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Hematology & Oncology • Job Type: Locum Tenens/Locum-to-Perm • Facility Location: Wheaton, MD • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Aug 11, 2025 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Shift Schedule: MWF or Mon-Fri; 8 hrs/day - 3 or 5 days/week • Call Schedule: 7 consecutive days/month; 24-hr call • Call Ratio: 1:4 • Call Coverage: On-call while doing OP clinic work & have to go to hospital.

• Patient Volume: - More on chronic mgmt patients; few emergent cases.

• Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric • % of Practice: 25% Hem, 75% Onc • Physicians in Practice: PT Hem Onc, FT Breast Surgeon, FT Surgical Onco, 2 FT Radiation Onc.

• Duties: - Participation on a Tumor Board, Blood Bank, Orders Tests & Images and Prescribes.

• Required Procedures: - Chemo: Intracavitary-Intrapleural/Peritoneal, etc.

- Chemo: Intrathecal, FNA/Biopsy & Mgmt.

- A lot of Spanish-speaking patients; they have interpreters.
