Job Description

This position is a hands-on field leadership role that will begin with the day-to-day management of residential job sites, while preparing to take full ownership of commercial construction field operations upon project launch.

You will report directly to the COO and serve as the primary field lead once our commercial work begins. This is a strategic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to grow into a Superintendent and Division Leader — not just stay stagnant in a support role.

Key Responsibilities

Residential Project Oversight (Initial Duties)

Supervise multiple active residential remodeling sites

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries

Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and security

Conduct daily site walks and ensure work aligns with scope, schedule, and quality standards

Monitor jobsite progress and communicate daily updates to leadership

Troubleshoot field issues quickly and professionally

Ensure all materials and subcontractors are on-site according to planned timelines

Conduct pre-walks and punch list completion with clients and team

Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and Kairos protocols

Commercial Project Preparation & Transition (Future Duties)

Participate in pre-construction planning and site readiness once commercial job is activated

Coordinate subcontractors for commercial scopes including MEP, concrete, framing, roofing, finishes, and more

Enforce quality control standards specific to commercial timelines and specifications

Lead jobsite safety meetings, inspections, and quality walkthroughs

Maintain daily field reports, subcontractor logs, and project documentation using company software

Represent Kairos in on-site walkthroughs with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders

Provide feedback and recommendations to improve field efficiency and process consistency

Help develop and implement Kairos' field systems for the Commercial Division (checklists, documentation, safety workflows)

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

You must meet ONE of the following educational/experience criteria:

A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant construction field experience

OR

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction field leadership role (e.g., Assistant Superintendent, Site Supervisor, Lead Carpenter, or Commercial Foreman)

Additional Requirements

Proven record of managing job sites, subcontractors, and safety procedures

Strong understanding of construction documents (plans, scopes, specs)

Skilled in job sequencing, time management, and site logistics

Experience working with software such as Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar

Must be reliable, solutions-driven, and able to self-manage

OSHA-10 required OSHA-30 preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Path to Growth: Commercial Division Leadership

This role is designed as a development path into a leadership position. Your success in managing residential projects and preparing for commercial site activation will set the foundation for:

Commercial Superintendent

Senior Superintendent or Project Manager (Commercial)

Director of Commercial Construction Operations

You will become the technical field lead for all commercial work at Kairos — shaping our systems, standards, and future team.Company Description
