ICU RN Traveler – Day Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU RN to join our team on a traveling basis. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience in an ICU setting, with the expectation that travelers will float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed. Shift Details

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30)

Rotating Weekends: Yes

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1 year minimum in an ICU setting

Certifications:

ACLS

BLS

Experience with Patient Ratio: ICU 1:6, Medical-Surgical

Charting System: Community Hospital experience preferred

Skills Required

Accessing Ports

Arterial line management

Assisting with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal

Management of BiPAP and CPAP

Blood Product Administration

Care of Ventilated Patients

Central line care/management

Management of dysrhythmias and multi-system organ failure

Post Cardiac Surgery care

Ventilator Management

Unit Details

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 0-2 in ICU, 8-12 in MS

Number of Beds: 20

Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more

Travel Compliance Requirements

Valid NM or Compact RN license required at the time of submission

Must be willing to float to like units as needed

Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit
