A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIMNEY REPAIR MASON

As a Chimney Repair Mason, you are responsible for performing repairs on clients' chimneys through tasks such as cutting and laying various masonry materials, operating power tools, and more. You work in diverse weather conditions and regularly lift and transport heavy items. During assembly, you meticulously position brick, stone, and other masonry components in accordance with established plans. Your duties include restoring aged or damaged masonry structures, erecting scaffolds or ladders, and conducting work on rooftops. Additionally, you may install chimney liners, maintain equipment, ensure the cleanliness of the job site, and provide training to apprentices as required.

CHIMNEY REPAIR MASON QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of a related apprenticeship

Passion for masonry

Valid driver's license

Your own trade-related hand tools
