About The Position

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Wyoming, starting Sep 1, 2025. This role requires working day shifts from 7a to 7p, with a 7-on/7-off schedule, providing critical support in an open ICU at a Trauma facility with a dedicated COVID wing.

Schedule: 7-day blocks, 7a-7p; 7 days on followed by 7 days off

Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate with the Emergency Department (ED) to manage code blue and airway emergencies

Support the attending hospitalist throughout the shift

Handle critical care procedures including:

Ventilator management

Central line placement

Intubation

Consult with specialty services such as Nephrology and Radiology

Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and management

Additional Information

Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Wyoming

Experience in inpatient and acute care settings is essential

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment

Strong team collaboration skills, working closely with multiple departments
