Qualifications An Average Day: (Includes, but not limited to) * Conduct grief assessments and provide one-on-one or group counseling to family members/caregivers up to one year following a patient's passing * Offer grief support and resources to hospice staff dealing with work-related grief * Plan and lead support groups, retreats, and other wellness initiatives for staff and families * Maintain and update community resource lists for bereavement referrals * Respond to calls from the public needing bereavement support or guidance * Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, in-services, and ongoing hospice education * Independently manage your daily schedule while collaborating closely with hospice teams * Travel to patient homes, facilities, or Bristol offices as needed * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent specialized/theological education * OR Master's in Social Work with clinical grief counseling background * Experience supporting individuals through death, dying, and grief * Strong understanding of grief responses and bereavement counseling (individual and group) * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Committed to the hospice philosophy * Team-oriented but comfortable working independently We Got the Perks: * Tuition Reimbursement * PTO and Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and more * HSA & 401(k) available * Mileage Reimbursement for applicable positions * Advanced training programs * Passionate company culture committed to the highest standard of care in the hospice industry Join a Team that embraces the reverence of life!
