We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will represent a key milestone in Hyatts continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Located in the center of Lisbons bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will comprise five buildings, including the historic Banco Portugus de Investimento (BPI). The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms in the main building, with surrounding satellite buildings offering various private suites. This urban resort aims to provide an authentic Lisbon experience.

About the role

The Sales Executive will lead efforts to drive revenue and promote the hotel's brand during the pre-opening phase. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role involves developing sales strategies, building client relationships, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, coordinating events, and preparing sales reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to attract high-end clients and corporate accounts.

Revenue: Focus on generating revenue.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, exceeding their expectations.

Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.

Business Understanding: Know the local market, competitors, and economic/travel trends.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts ensuring favorable terms.

Event Coordination: Collaborate with departments to organize events aligning with luxury standards.

Reporting: Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality.

Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical skills, and customer focus.

Languages: Multilingual abilities are advantageous, especially in international markets.
