Salary:

Moody Engineeringis seeking a Civil Construction Engineer in Training to work under a veteran engineer and complement our fast-growing roadway/infrastructure/site development team in Columbus, Ohio.Working at Moody Engineering provides a unique working environment due to its highly diverse project portfolio and personnel.We are a growing firm looking for well-rounded professionals to join our team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to requests for information, RFIs, and coordinate with team during construction.

Constructability review of engineering plans for retail, commercial, higher-education, residential and municipal developments

Perform site visits and prepare reports during construction for site development, infrastructure and roadway projects

Provide advice and creativity resolve any potential problems/deficiencies quickly

Provide QA/QC to plans prior to Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Final Design

Work with project team members on projects with our staff and our clients

Ideal Candidate Skills Include:

0-3 years of experience

0-3 years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Infrastructure Suite or Microstation

Experience with site development documents and permitting preferred with City of Columbus, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Franklin County or ODOT

ODOT Prequalified as Project Inspector, Structure Inspector or Construction Engineer

Strong Construction Administration background

Experience with tunnels

Strong analytical and communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team with minimal oversight

Passed FE exam

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an ABET accredited College or University required in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
