Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: 12-16 hours per week; weekend availability required; part-time per diem

Shifts: Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning; occasional weekday evening events; minimum 2 shifts per week

Pay: $24.00-25.00 per hour (up to $26.00/hour after the first 180 days)

Training is paid at $20.00/hour

Job Description

Armed Dedicated Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of residential buildings, client assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities

Providing peace of mind by being a visible and active security presence

Conduct randomized patrols of the property and key areas

Respond to dispatches, alarms and emergency situations

Write detailed incident reports, tour reports and summary logs

Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests and staff

Communicate and collaborate with local emergency services when required

Requirements

Be on-time, in uniform, and professional

Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred; willing to train the right people

Active MA LTC

Must own equipment to conceal carry or open carry

Must be able to pass an annual firearms qualification

Ability to attend required training in Natick, MA and Holliston, MA

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Vigilant, observant and detail oriented

Self-disciplined

Ability to de-escalate conflict
