Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $50/hourLocation: Jal/Carlsbad, NMAssignment Duration: Long term to direct hireWork Schedule: 14/14 RotationComprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidaysTruck, Tools and computer providedMUST HAVE: At least 10 years of experience with strong Caterpillar 3606 & 3608 Adem 3 experience as well as strong Ariel compressor experience with JGC/4 compressorsMUST HAVE: Candidate MUST be within 70 miles of Jal, New MexicoUse of Mancamp is mandatory due to on-call nature of rotation Qualifications: 15-20+ years of closely related field experienceHas strong Caterpillar 3606 & 3608 Adem 3 experience and troubleshooting skillsHas strong Ariel compressor experience with JGC/4 compressorsDiscipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experienceStrong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation stepsTeam Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with othersAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite software programsCan and will work independently to perform daily duties without direct supervisionHas some gas facility experience to be able to help if needed to work on and repair dump valves and other process related mechanical devices Responsibilities: Technicians are assigned to carry out maintenance workAssists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etcHelps prepare proposals and cost estimatesActively participate in the use of all on the job safety toolsReview job packsIdentify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal/mitigation prior to workingExecute work as plannedRecord technical history as required by workgroup.
