North Dallas Area
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Real Estate Manager to oversee and grow our land and property portfolio in North Texas, which includes thousands of acres of developable land. This role is unique — part development strategy, part community engagement, and part property management.
You will help us identify and pursue new opportunities, build trusted relationships with city leaders, and shape the future of our holdings, while also ensuring our existing portfolio is well-managed. Expect to spend time in the field, at city hall, and walking land — not just behind a desk. The right candidate thrives in ambiguity, rolls up their sleeves, and is equally comfortable scouting land, navigating zoning, meeting with city leaders, or negotiating a lease.
What You’ll Do
· Identify and evaluate land acquisition and development opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with city officials, planning staff, landowners, and brokers.
· Navigate zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes to support existing and future projects.
· Conduct market research and financial analysis to inform development strategy and identify opportunities.
· Oversee property operations across land and commercial sites, including leasing, tenant relations, and property upkeep.
· Manage vendors, maintenance, and capital improvements to ensure properties are well-managed.
· Represent the company locally as the face of our North Texas portfolio.
· Provide on-the-ground insights and recommendations to leadership.
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, land management, property operations, or development.
· Familiarity with zoning, entitlement, and permitting processes.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
· Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable in an unstructured environment.
· Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, urban planning, or related field preferred.
Culture Fit
· You like to wear many hats and thrive in both detail work and big-picture strategy.
· You’re scrappy and comfortable figuring things out on the fly.
· You believe in responsible development and long-term value creation.
