Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! We are seeking motivated individuals who able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.

Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor

Use of standard gauges, including the following: dial calipers, depth gauges, plug gauges and special gauges after instruction has been provided

Possesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performed

Changes cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.

Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisorsâ instructions.

Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisor

Capable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistanceRequirements:

Must be self-motivated

Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to work Overtime, as required

Must follow the dress code: Steel Toe, ESD shoes are required, plant wide. Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $16/Hour
