R&D Lab Specialist

Job Description

The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “R&D Lab Specialist”.

Key Responsibilities:

Move samples in/out of environmental chambers; monitor and replace temperature chart recorders weekly.

Receive, label, and organize incoming samples; stage for testing.

Prepare samples: fill/crimp tubes, apply caps/pumps, perform pump priming and weight loss checks.

Assist with tests: torque, vacuum leak, drop, transit, compression, label adhesion, and product resistance.

Update SAP and Excel trackers with test status and results.

Maintain clean lab area; handle waste, recycling, and retain sample storage.

Requirements:

High school diploma (technical/lab experience preferred).

Familiar with packaging components and basic lab tools.

Proficient in Excel; SAP experience a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Additional Information:

Location: New Albany, OH

Assignment Duration: 3 months contract

Pay range: $19-$21/hr. on W2

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
