We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service/Sales Manager to lead and grow our HVAC service team while driving business expansion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in HVAC systems combined with proven sales and leadership experience. This hands-on role requires managing daily operations, supervising service and installation teams, generating new business through field sales efforts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the HVAC service team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Manage project timelines to ensure timely and high-quality completion of HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Actively engage in lead generation and field sales to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

Prepare, present, and follow up on detailed proposals and quotes for HVAC equipment and service installations.

Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities and implement retail and inside sales strategies.

Conduct site visits to assess client needs and develop customized HVAC solutions.

Recruit, train, and mentor service and sales staff, fostering professional development and building a high-performing team.

Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.

Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory, and equipment maintenance using relevant software tools.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manufacturers, and suppliers through effective communication and exceptional customer service.

Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business growth plans, including market expansion and service diversification.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in HVAC service management and sales, including outside or territory sales.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, and maintenance.

Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Proficient in preparing proposals, managing sales pipelines, and using project management or CRM software.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel regularly to job sites.

Manufacturer certifications related to HVAC systems are a plus.

Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in HVAC technology and services.

Physical & Work Environment:

This role involves a mix of office and field work, including site visits and direct customer interaction. The candidate must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in varied environments. Our shop is located in Queens, with most work performed throughout New York City.
