The CFT Incharge - ARFF will be responsible for overseeing the Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at the airport in Mangalore, Karnataka & Guwahati, Assam. The ideal candidate should have 7-15 years of experience in the airports industry, with a strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Crash Fire Tender (CFT) team, ensuring round-the-clock readiness for emergency response
Develop, implement, and review ARFF operational procedures and protocols in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards
Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness
Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid
Oversee the maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems
Prepare and analyze incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services
Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies
Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards of fire safety and emergency preparedness
Provide leadership and support during actual emergency incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response to protect lives and property
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or related field
Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
Certification required
Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority
Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention
Experience
10-15 years of experience in the airports industry
Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services
Proven track record of leadership and team management
