Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Supply Chain and Procurement Technology portfolio team. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding a team of developers across full-stack technologies, including React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. The candidate will oversee end-to-end development and coordinate with business partners, the EAM platform (Maximo), cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD teams to deliver and maintain a high-quality product. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in modern web applications and DevOps practices.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
Participate in analysis sessions and support business analysts in documenting application requirements.
Architect and develop responsive front-end applications using React.js.
Build and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
Design and manage data models and integrations with the PostgreSQL database.
Coordinate with the cloud infrastructure team to deploy scalable and secure applications using AWS services.
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure and stable communication between systems.
Provide support for production environments, including root cause analysis, incident management, and change management procedures.
Work with IT security teams to implement IAM and access controls.
Ensure adherence to business continuity and disaster recovery standards and planning.
What We're Looking For:
Solution Engineer Senior (SG7):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Solution Engineer Principal (SG8):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 7 years relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Nice-to-have:
Qualifications:
Over 7 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Familiarity with and experience in the Agile/Scrum framework.
Proficient in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and services.
Strong experience with CI/CD (GitHub), enterprise integration toolsets, and IAM configurations.
Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
AWS certification (Solutions Architect).
Experience with containerization and orchestration concepts.
Preferred experience in the utility industry.
Understanding of ERP systems (Maximo, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and related databases.
