Material handler/Forklift operator

Job Description

Integrity Trade Services is currently hiring for a Material handler position at our client in Plainfield

Hours for training are 7am-3pm for 1 to 2 weeks then move to 12 hour rotatating shift 7pm-7am and receive $1 to $20.50

SUMMARY

The Material handler position will be a variety of general warehouse work including loading and unloading, helping out the machine operators, palletizing, inventory etc

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Must have experience with SAP warehouse management software

Must have Forklift experience

Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintaining good housekeeping and GMP/Global Food Safety practices

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to climb, sit, stand and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule

IL Paid Leave for All WorkersAn employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

401(k) with company match for eligible employees.Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.

The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
