Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology

Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in Dubuque, Iowa, where we are currently seeking a qualified Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment that emphasizes patient care and personal wellbeing. The practice operates from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured schedule with no on-call responsibilities. Job Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient care including treatment visits, follow-ups, and consultations for 20-25 patients daily.

Administer required procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT.

Collaborate with a small team to ensure quality patient care, as you will be the sole Radiation Oncologist on-site.

Utilize EMR system (Aria) for documentation and patient management.

Be available for two-week stretches of coverage, with the possibility of seamless handoffs between providers. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology REQUIRED

Active Iowa license or active IMLC REQUIRED for candidates offering 2 on/2 off coverage.

COVID vaccination REQUIRED

Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing REQUIRED (temp privileges available, approximately 30-60 days).

Ability to offer coverage for 4-week stretches REQUIRED

Clean background and malpractice history REQUIRED

Experience with Aria documentation HIGHLY PREFERRED

Local candidates or those within driving distance HIGHLY PREFERRED License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Radiation Oncology

Active Iowa medical license or IMLC
