General Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities

Transports goods to and from sites/vessels

Ensures that hazardous goods are transported in accordance with regulations

Ensures the company motor vehicle is regularly serviced, checked for roadworthiness, and kept clean

Prepares ship spares/consumables for delivery to vessels

Basic rigging and slinging of equipment and SBM hoses

Operate truck mounted crane

Splicing of mooring hawser pickup ropes

General site maintenance

Support SBM activities

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Grade 12

At least 2 years experience as a Driver

1-year basic Rigging and Slinging experience

Valid Forklift license with experience

Code 10 with PDP

A motivated individual who takes initiative; has proven problem solving abilities and can successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions

Is able to follow instructions and procedures

Is able to deliver results and meet client expectations

Is a team player with a professional work ethic

Willing to comply to strict SHEQ standards and working habits
