ForMotion Clinic is the patient care division of Embla Medical (formerly Össur). A global network of orthotic & prosthetic patient care facilities, we provide world-class, compassionate care for patients with mobility challenges in 11 different countries around the world. Each ForMotion clinic is staffed by expert clinicians and highly skilled professionals in mobility, with a common goal of helping people to live a life without limitations. The clinics in Norway was rebranded earlier in 2025, formerly known as OCH Ortopedi.

Embla Medical is seeking a passionate and results-driven Managing Director to lead our ForMotion Patient Care business in Norway. With 10 locations and approximately 160 employees, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of mobility care in a key European market. Preferred location is Oslo, with frequent travel across Norway.

Your role

The Managing Director will take full responsibility for the business development and financial management of the Patient Care business in Norway, leading all aspects of its operations. This includes driving change in the organization, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability while navigating the organizational structure. This role demands strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to effectively collaborate across the Embla Medical organization. The Managing Director will lead activity and teams in carrying out the Group strategy and vision, declining it into priorities, setting objectives, and implementing action plans for Norway with both execution and long-term focus.

The Managing Director will ensure alignment with ForMotion’s overarching goals while preserving the unique identity and autonomy of the Patient Care segment in Norway.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Leading activity and teams into monitoring and continuously improving company performance across all key metrics.

Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to address both present and future market challenges and opportunities.

Spearheading business development initiatives to expand the company's reach and impact within the Norwegian market.

Identifying and exploring new potential avenues for market share growth.

Ensuring the delivery of adequate services and solutions that enhance product differentiation and create a competitive advantage in the Norwegian market.

Who are you:

Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in retail healthcare is a plus.

Change Management: Proven ability to drive organizational change effectively and foster increased employee engagement within established teams.

Strategic Acumen: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate strategy into action.

P&L Expertise: Deep understanding of P&L management, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.

Operational Excellence: Experience in optimizing operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Languages: Fluency in Norwegian and English (spoken and written) is essential.
