Overview
The Research Scientist will participate in the development and implementation of a nationally competitive program developing innovative translational diagnostic medical imaging technology within the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and validate innovative techniques and methodologies for reconstruction and processing of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data.
Plan, design and execute advanced research experiments; conduct statistical analysis, evaluation and interpretation of data.
Assist with raw data archival and curation; develop new and support ongoing collaborative research opportunities.
Assist other investigators by contributing technical expertise; plan and write manuscripts, articles, abstracts and research reports for publication in peer?reviewed journals.
Write and submit grant proposals of original research in the area of biomedical imaging as Principal Investigator (PI), co-investigator or collaborator to obtain external funding support of research.
Participate in supervision and training of junior research staff, residents, and undergraduate & graduate students.
