The College of Dentistry seeks applications for a full-time oral and maxillofacial surgeon to join our esteemed academic community. This tenure-track faculty position offers an incredible opportunity to contribute to an innovative residency training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology while engaging in teaching, research, and service.

Performance Objectives
Deliver high-quality instruction at both the pre-doctoral and resident trainee levels in didactic and clinical settings.
Pursue research in collaboration with other health science units, demonstrating excellence through presentations at professional meetings and publications in reputable journals. The emphasis on research and securing extramural funding will align with promotion requirements.
Participate actively in university and college governance.
Provide full-scope clinical services in oral and maxillofacial surgery and respond to maxillofacial trauma and odontogenic infection calls at affiliated hospitals.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
DDS, DMD, or an equivalent international dental degree.
Completion of a CODA-accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.
Eligibility for a regular dental license by the Ohio State Dental Board.
Board-eligible or board-certified status by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
