Schwend Inc is looking to hire for a CDL A Regional Dedicated Food Grade in the area of Chattanooga, TN!

Earn from $1200 to $1600 Gross Weekly!

At Least 2 Years of Verifiable CDL A Experience Required

No SAP Drivers

Benefits:

6 paid sick days a year (1/2 a month)

Simple IRA retirement plan after probationary period with matching contribution up to 3%. You are eligible at your one-year probationary period.

Nightly Per Diem - $20.00/night for pneumatic drivers

Weekend Per Diem if out Friday, Saturday, Sunday night you will receive a flat $75.00 on top of your normal nightly per diem

Sign on bonus of $5,000.00, paid out weekly in $100.00 increments

Drivers will receive uniforms (free of charge) after their first 60 days

Drivers are eligible for quarterly fuel and safety bonuses

We recognize the 6 standard holidays (holiday pay); Christmas Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day

Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance are available to you after your first 60 days of employment.

Orientation & Training

Held at either Jasper TN or Dade City FL terminal

Orientation lasts 1-2 days. Orientation is paid, $100.00 - $150.00 depending on how long it takes.

If you have never pulled a pneumatic or a hopper, no worries, we will train you!

Training is done in your own truck and trailer you will not be riding with anyone.

Pneumatic training typically takes 1-2 weeks, You will be in your own truck and trailer shadowing another driver, you will shadow this driver for pickups and deliveries until you are comfortable to run on your own.

You are hauling freight during training, so you will be paid for loads hauled. The one - two weeks you spend training, you will likely not get as many loads done as if you were running on your own, so during training your pay check will likely be lower than when you are running on your own.

Pay:

Earn from $1200 to $1600 gross weekly!

Pneumatic drivers:

20% first year

21% second year

22% third year

$1.50 per ton for every ton of product blown off

$20 / nightly per diem for each night spent in the truck

Supplies

All drivers are required to have a working CB radio, a working hands free headset, steel toe boots/shoes, boxer cutter, basic tool kit and garbage bags in their trucks, always.

We do not supply the above items; these are items drivers are responsible for keeping in their truck at all times.

Trucks have APUs and Inverters. We do not provide microwaves, fridges, or TVs. There are hook ups for these items, but we do not provide them.

Requirements:

CDL A License

2 years of verifiable Class A experience within the last 4 years

No record of refusal to take or failure of a drug test EVER

NO DUI, DWI, careless or reckless driving within the last 10 years

Drivers must be proficient in English

NO SAP Drivers

Felonies need to be more than 10 years old

We look at longevity, more than 12 jobs in the last 10 years we typically wont move forward with an applicant

NO license suspension for more than 30 days in the last 3 years
