Health Defend LLC is seeking a meticulous and dependable Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will play a critical role in accurately entering and maintaining data to support our healthcare operations—all while working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately input, update, and manage data in healthcare databases and systems

Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards

Organize and maintain electronic records securely and systematically

Identify discrepancies and report errors promptly to supervisors

Meet daily and weekly data entry goals with a high level of accuracy

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive healthcare information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Collaborate remotely with team members to support operational workflows

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous experience in data entry, preferably in healthcare or related fields

Strong typing skills (40+ WPM) and exceptional attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with healthcare software is a plus

Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy regulations is highly desirable

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace

Preferred Skills:

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or medical billing software

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy under deadlines
