Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to perform project management activities as assigned by and in support of the Project Manager / Project Executive.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in budget and schedule management
Participate in activities of design team including owner, architect, engineers
Keep in touch with day-to-day project tracking and communication with the client and project team
Prepare and distribute meeting notes to the project team
Train to track, update, forecast and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project
Train to prepare contracts, purchase orders and change orders
Support the preparation of Weekly Reports to owner
Participate in the negotiation of subcontractor contracts associated with the project
Prepare Close-Out packages for projects
Participate in reviewing invoices and change orders associated with the project
Travel to and from job sites
Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management or related field, and 1-2 experience
Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project is a plus
Knowledge of Procore is helpful
