Your role

In the role of HR Officer for the Sanoma Learning BeNe organization, you will be responsible for the smooth execution of payroll, HR administrative processes, and employee support through ticket resolution. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence, data accuracy, and compliance across HR services. You will be part of the BeNe HR operations team.

Your key areas of responsibility

Payroll & Benefits Administration for the Netherlands

Oversee monthly payroll activities in alignment with CLA and legal requirements

Liaise with external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing

Monitor internal controls and compliance training related to payroll

HR Support & administration

Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries via our ticketing system

Manage and maintain the company HR portal, ensuring that policies, updates, and employee information are communicated clearly and promptly to all staff

Manage employee lifecycle documentation including contracts, onboarding packs, and offboarding via Workday

Escalate complex cases to relevant HRBPs or Workday specialists

Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity and accuracy in Workday

HR Process optimalisation

Acting as a sparring partner for HR Business Partners in projects such as talent management and organizational development

Work closely together with the Workday team and optimize and streamline HR processes across the different regions in the Sanoma group

Participating to HR development, taking care of some own development projects and assisting other HR team members across the countries when needed

Stay updated on legal changes and proactively adjust processes to remain compliant

What do we expect from you in this role?

Relevant bachelor's or master's degree

Experience in HR administration or a similar role, preferably in a complex and corporate organization and within a transformational context

Experience with and knowledge of Dutch Payroll admin

Knowledge and experience with Workday

Strong knowledge of the Dutch labor law. Knowledge of Belgian labor legislation is considered beneficial

Proactive, service-minded, and reliable in handling confidential information. You are a critical thinker

You have excellent Dutch and English speaking and writing skills

The salary range for this position is €3191,73 – 4225,80,- with the final salary being determined based on experience
