As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are looking for a Team Care Coordinator (Lead) to join our team! In this role, you will support providers, coordinate patient care, and serve as a leader in ensuring efficient clinic operations.

GENERAL SUMMARY
What You’ll Do
As a Team Care Coordinator (Lead), you’ll partner closely with physicians and PAs to provide direct support in patient care, assist with in-office procedures, and manage clinical and surgical schedules. You will also guide administrative processes, including scheduling, prescription management, and handling patient communication.
Essential Functions
Document patient visits, including intake, history, exams, and treatment plans.
Assist providers with in-office procedures (aspirations, injections, suture removal, etc.).
Complete disability and FMLA paperwork; call in prescriptions as authorized.
Triage and respond to patient phone calls.
Schedule appointments and procedures, coordinating with WC adjusters, nurse case managers, and home health agencies.
Manage surgical and clinical schedules for providers.
Submit or renew physical therapy orders.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: High school diploma/GED required; CMA, anatomy coursework, or healthcare-related degree preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to type 40 WPM and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Personal Qualities: Positive, proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while supporting team success.
