Entry Level Staff Engineer/Geologist (CMT)

Job Description

NOVA Engineering is hiring a Staff Engineer/Geologist to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects based from our Panama City Beach, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Staff engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (both Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)

Assisting with project management & reporting

Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.

Report preparation

Client consultation and maintenance

Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have:

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology

Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!

0 -1 years Construction Materials experience preferred, not required

EIT or GIT is preferred, or ability to obtain in 3 - 6 months

Strong communication skills

Position entails approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office with occasional travel.
