3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

Essential Functions
Work safely. Identify unsafe conditions and take action to mitigate.
Read and comply with written operating procedures.
Read the production schedule and a production work order. Set up raw materials and machine conditions to meet the needs of the work order.
Use a core cutter.
Locate, retrieve, and stage raw material and packaging supplies to maintain productivity for the shift and for the oncoming shift.
Maintain the organization of raw material and packaging supplies at the slitter, including returning un-used packaging to the appropriate warehouse location.
Read set-up instructions and set machine operating conditions via a computerized operator interface.
Start-up and shut down the slitter.
Monitor machine operating conditions and alarms. Independently react to correct deviations.
Monitor the product during production.
Monitor machine for equipment malfunctions.
Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairing equipment malfunctions.
Use a hoist to handle product.
Take product samples.
Perform quality inspection and testing on product.
Enter quality data into a computerized system.
Monitor trends of quality data.
Respond to process or quality upsets. Troubleshoot and correct independently.
Complete paperwork (logs, checklists, etc.)
Package and label finished product.
Label scrap materials
Perform computerized transactions to create inventory and to consume raw material.
Stage finished product in warehouse using a forklift.
Package, label, and stage scrap materials.
Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Execute product and set-up changes.
Train new employees on-the-job.
Offer ideas for improving the performance of the operations.
Extrusion Machine Operator: Need 4

Responsibilities
Operate complex extrusion machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently
Perform inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production
Read and understand production schedules and work orders
Set up raw materials and machine conditions to meet the requirements of the work order
Monitor machine operating conditions, alarms, and online gauges
Monitor machinery for equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments
Perform quality inspections and testing on products
Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
