Underground Miner - Experienced Bullgang/Utility/Service Crew

We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Pogo operation for experienced and motivated Underground Miners on a 2/1 work schedule.

Excellent remuneration package with bonuses, Medical, Dental, Life and AD&D insurance and other benefits such as 401k and paid leave THE OPPORTUNITY The Underground Miner reports to the underground Shift Supervisor, and roles include: Truck Driver - Transport ore and waste material from the underground operations to the surface within the operations.

Service crew - Installation of services and ventilation to all development and production headings.

Loader/Mucker - Muck all development and production headings, load trucks and maintain road works within the operations.

Nipper - Carry out tasks to assist in safe and efficient mining operations, such as delivery, pick-up and transport of mining equipment and personnel and other mining tasks.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience working in an underground mining environment Experience operating heavy plant and/or underground mining equipment Current drivers' licence Basic mechanical knowledge.

Good communication skills.

Flexibility and able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing work environment.

Capable of heavy physical work.

Must pass a post offer physical and drug test, as well as a background check.

WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT Working a 14 day on, 7 day off rotating schedule of days and nights, up to 11 hours a day or more at a remote campsite.

Extreme conditions, including but not limited to extreme and changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.

Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation.

Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms.

Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, internet & cable tv programs.

Cell service is available when using Wi-Fi.

The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.
